Well, here’s the latest:

Alright, So much has been going on. Somewhat stressful… yet, all very exciting! I’ve even been dreaming about it… really. As of today I have an IWATA HP-C Plus aribrush on it’s way just for me!!! The HP-C Plus is the most popular airbrush in the High Performance Plus Series. It’s high-precision enables you to do highly detailed work!

Also, I am working with House Of Kolor & Createx Enamel Based paints. Both which are of very high quality!

The specific compressor I’ll be working with is an Airbrush-Depot Model TC-20T Tank Air Compressor which gives off precise air adjustment — extremely important to provide a quality & professional job!

Oh, I could go on and on. Shh, but I musn’t tell all! Let’s keep it a surprise! So far, I have 5 helmets I am currently prepping and getting ready for paint! Can’t wait to post photos of my work! This is something I am so excited about and ready to just dive into head first !! Stay tuned!

ANY DAY NOW!!

My House of Kolor paints should be arriving ANY day now! I cannot wait! I have so many ideas in my head!! A goalie mask is prepped and ready for paint!!! Tick tock, Tick tock!

F i s h i n a n g r i a.

A plague with characteristics similar to that of Tapeworm but far worse. Extra Terrestrials from a planet other than our own using the Human species as a host. Growing within us all. Ready to take over our world.

Ha, I have been watching X-Files quite a lot lately. Along with the History channel and NatGeo. Here is a sketch I finished. It’s all ink. So much more to come!!!

Joe Sakic

Wellp, It’s been 10 days since Opening-night for the Colorado Avalanche and Joe Sakics well deserved and pretty darn amazing commemorative ceremony honoring his retirement from the NHL. Annnnd here I am at 2:00 in the morning finally uploading photos from that night! I wanted to say a few things about it all… First off, It meant so much being there at Pepsi Center that night witnessing all the fan spirit flying throughout the entire arena. It was just too cool! To actually see Joe Sakic himself – one of my favorite hockey players who I’ve been watching since I can remember say his last and final goodbye’s?? Was… well, truly awesome and something I’ll never forget!

I wanted to share the painting I did for Joe Sakic. I did it using watercolor acrylics on super freshly treated thick and very soakable linen for enhancing all the colors and also used a little bit of ink here and there. Unfortunately, it was damaged overnight at a small framing studio - I’d rather not go into all the detail. Incidents such as this seem to happen to me much too often. But here I am… channeling it in a very positive way and carrying on! All the wonderful things that happend that night made up for it anyway! This painting was copied from a photograph I simply found off of the internet. To me, it showed Joe Sakics focus… To me, it showed a lot.

I still want to give Joe a painting and I totally will. =]

But for now? I am thinking, thinking, thinking… until once again I’m at that special canvas painting, painting, painting. =]
